"Ever since I was a kid I always had a camera in my hand.”
Alexi Reibman’s artistic eye seeks innovation and translates it across visual mediums. His passion for powerful imagery brought him to New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology as a photography major. During this time, Alexi also studied photography and cinematography at Main Media Workshops + College.
“Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it.”
Alexi’s work has appeared in PDN Magazine, and brought him to the final rounds of a Photographers Forum photography contest. In 2017, he earned first place awards at the Awareness Film Festival for directing “Promise Tomorrow”, a music video focused on teen suicide prevention. Alexi has also been recognized for his creative contributions to New-TV, a Boston area TV station.
Today, Alexi’s images are found worldwide in print and online publications. He is a staple participant in New York Fashion Week, and in 2017 directed the Minika Ko show, “Kollision”. In addition to live production, Alexi crafts portfolios for agency models and designers, including Anna Nieman Couture. He also partners with musicians, such as LA based hip-hop artist NessaSary, who tapped Alexi to produce the jacket of her debut single "Great" featuring artist Tech N9ne.
When not working on-set, Alexi can be found teaching workshops at colleges and high schools. He has led college-level sessions on magazine covers and the editorial feature at Tufts University, as well as “Portfolio Management” and “Intro to Fashion Photography” seminars at Newton North High School.
